Ketchup Days!

As we are getting closer to the end of the quarter I will be hosting student catch up days. These "ketchup" days are for current art students only and can be used to make up quizzes or finish outstanding projects that are due. Many of you have missing work so check your grades to make sure you are not missing anything. If you are missing something please come to the next "Ketchup Day" on Thursday, September 20th.

Color Theory Quiz

Students in 7th and 8th grade are studying the color wheel right now. We need to know the theory behind color so we can start our painting unit. There will be a quiz on the color wheel handout (that was completed in class on 9/10) Thursday, Sept. 13th.  Use your handout to study!

One Point Perspective Room

We have been working on our 1pt. perspective rooms and we are almost finished. Remember if you chose the art gallery you need to have at least 3 paintings (paintings that exist, not made-up ones). You also need to include various colored pencil techniques in your completed art work. I am looking for varying pressure, hatching, cross hatching, stippling, and layering of colors.  This project is due by the end of class on Friday, Sept. 7th.
