Ch-Ch-Ch-Changes....
This is going to be my mantra this year as I enter my 20th year of teaching art. TWENTY! I can hardly believe it. Instead of staying where I was comfortable, I thought I would completely change it up this year by moving to a new school district AND by teaching a whole new grade level!
I am now, officially, a middle school art teacher.
Did you read that and become alarmed for me? Middle school? Why why why? Is that what you are thinking? That's what I always thought too but I KNOW I am going to love middle school already.Stay posted for all the new and exciting adventures that I know I will be having.

iPortraits
Although not an original idea by any means, this iPortrait lesson is still a fun one and one of my favorites. As more art teachers start to embrace technology in their classrooms, I thought it would be beneficial to share it again.
